All Small Creek Forge skillets go through a two-step seasoning process for a natural non-stick layer. This process begins with blueing the skillet and is followed by a layer of seasoning using canola oil.

Our skillets have been tested on multiple types of cooking surfaces, such as: gas, induction, glass and coil stoves, oven, open flames, BBQ, smoker as well as wood fired ovens.

All Carbon Steel Skillets should be hand washed and promptly dried to prevent rusting, Never put a carbon steel skillet in the dishwasher as they will rust.

Due to the nature of handmade products, small differences, blemishes and surface scratches are to be expected, which only adds to the uniqueness of your product.
